REAR HUB MOD.
(FOR 1977 - 1980 MODELS.)
BITD MX has the cure for that old school ( sprocket - stud N' nut set up. ) It wasn't until '81 that YAMAHA welcomed the modern day "counter-sank sprocket bolt". The '77 - '80 model YZ bikes hold their rear sprocket to the rear hub via a "Stud & Nut" combination. We have the fix! We machine the backside of your hub to achieve a solid flat surface for a "lock washer & lock nut". We then remove the studs & run a tap through all six holes to clean your threads up for your new hardware. 40mm Stainless Button Allen Head bolts are then incorporated. A great improvement mod. to your EVO YZ for a small price.
